Under the guidance of the Ubud Hanging Gardens Chef we are please to offer the opportunity to discover Balinese ingredients and learn to prepare local delicacies in the superb setting of a scenic and tranquil village.
The morning starts wth a sublime nature walk along the Ayung River, then up a gradual slope to the place where Balinese villagers grow spices and vegetables.
After this spectacular walk through nature you will proceed to the Hotel's indigenous Balinese Kitchen located among the rice fields. Our chef will share three local Balinese recipes with you as you work with him to prepare your lunch.
He will explain everything from the preparation of the ingredients and traditional cooking techniques to the presentation of the finished dish.
After dining on your creation, we will guide you back to the hotel on a walk which combines the best of the surrounding area taking in the rice fields and villages overlooking Batukaru Mountain. We will present you with a special gift after the lesson and the recipes are yours to keep. Impress your friends and family with your new Balinese cooking skills! | | |
